So I sorted out my problem. It was a matter of tweaking two files so that it would see the gibson cable. Do you know how I can create these two files? Maybe by using an audio editor? I tried to create them myself but it didnt work as I didnt understand how to go about it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom
So I thought i had fixed my problem, but after getting home tonight I got the crashing sound and crashing effects when i play a song from my guitar. I hope it isnt too too late to repair. Anyone have any idea if itll be fixed anytime soon?
My issue was with the Apple Software Update App. One day I accidently downloaded a different one with a differant name. I tried to uninstall it but it had already been installed and ran like the correct Apple software updater. Any idea how to uninstall that without using Apple software updater?

Sorry, I didn't try the software update. This is just what I know about the issue. I suspect you need to do the software update, then try to use the Gibson cable. Only then will the tweaks be applicable. d2c66b5586
