When asked about two vs two matches in a comment on the US PlayStation Blog, Mikyska explained \"You can play two vs two online, with your friend locally (so, technically, it is one vs one, but for four players). This is mostly because of lag. Having 50ms lag in a racing game or a shooter is okay, but it would make the game unplayable in foosball.\"

Puddle is an inventive platformer from Neko Entertainment that was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms via their respective digital storefronts in January, 2012. This week, the game comes to the new release-starved PlayStation Vita. The Vita launched earlier this year with a strong-ish lineup behind it, but recent months have seen subsequent game releases tail off considerably. Puddle is a lone bright spot in an otherwise quiet summer for the Vita. The game sees players guiding a puddle of water through a series of rooms by manipulating the environment. In the PS3 release, this was done by tilting the SIXAXIS controller. The PS Vita version offers multiple control schemes: you can tilt your device or use the shoulder buttons, the left analog stick, or the rear touchpad to play.
Grip Games is a small independent studio based in Prague. Perhaps best known for Foosball 2012 (PS3/PS Vita), the studio has been developing games for the PlayStation platform for a while and their next effort is multiplayer action platformer Atomic Ninjas.
Jakub Mikyska: Yeah, when Vita was out, it had a crossplay feature with PlayStation 3. You could play on Vita against someone on PS3, for example, and we were- with a game called Foosball 2012 - we were among the first developers to actually really have a functioning multiplayer between these two platforms. We showed it at E3 and a lot of people who wanted to do the same thing just, like, came to us and said, 'How do you do it' We had people from Konami, who were working on that portable Metal Gear Solid at that time, they came, 'How did you do that They have this huge team working on it and they still haven't figured it out.' So, we love the interconnectivity between platforms. We believe that it's a future to connect players, to connect platforms, rather than separate them.
