People love free steam games, no doubt. But what many people hate is downloading so many parts and trying to install them on their own. This is why we are the only site that pre-installs every game for you. We have many categories like shooters, action, racing, simulators and even VR games! We strive to satisfy our users and ask for nothing in return. We revolutionized the downloading scene and will continue being your #1 site for free games.
IMPORTANT: Tombraiders.net does not support any of these files and is not responsible for anything that happens to your computer as a result of downloading or installing them. I try to make every effort to ensue that all of the linked files are safe and functional, but I cannot guarantee they'll work on all systems. I recommend taking proper precautions with any downloaded file, including downloading from reputable sites, scanning with an anti-virus/spyware program, following installation instructions, and backing up your existing files before installing anything new.
Unlike Tomb Raiders 1 and 2, which were followed up by free downloadable bonus levels, Tomb Raider 3 has a short, stand-alone sequel: The Lost Artifact. There is a demo for the first level, but if you want to play all six levels, you'll need to buy the game, which is only available on CD for PC and Macintosh. So far it has not come to Steam, GOG, etc.
TR3 and The Lost Artifact were designed to run under Windows 95/98/Me. So they will need a little tweaking to run smoothly on a computer with a newer version of Windows. The best and easiest fix is to first install the game as usual. Then download and run the appropriate Tomb Raider Multi Patch for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10. These are part of the excellent tech support section at tombraiderchronicles.com.
Mr. Sardoc's Ultimate Tomb Raider 3 and Lost Artefact Patch - Includes numerous bug and texture fixes, as well as an option to remove the green health crystals. (Hurrah!) Follow the link above for downloads and complete list of fixes.
If you are unable to see the video sequences at the start of the game and between certain levels, or if you just want to watch them again, you may want to download EscapePlay (765 KB) to watch the movies outside the game. The 'readme' file included with the download explains how to use it.
Accidentally pressing the Windows (Start Menu) key probably won't crash the TR3 game, but it can be annoying, especially during complicated platforming sequences. Fortunately it can be easily prevented by downloading and using one of the following utilities. I have found both very helpful, but since neither is my creation, I am not responsible for them. So use and enjoy it at your own risk.
The patch below is for the original CD version of TR3. If you are using one of the Tomb Raider Multi Patches for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 (described above) or have downloaded the GOG or Steam version of the game, you will not need any of these.
I prefer the use of savegame editors to game \"trainers,\" but if you really want one, they are out there. Use Google to search for keywords like \"tomb raider trainer.\" Just be sure to virus-scan any files you download. There's a lot of nasty code out there.
I'm the matriarch in a family of gamers, social media thrall, caffeine junkie, optimist, otaku, and webmaster at tombraiders.net, brickraiders.net and spacecolonyfans.net. Read more about me in the interviews section and feel free to contact me with any questions or feedback.
The downloads listed below include various save points for each level, including all secrets and following most difficult sequences. These should work with the original CD installation, as well as the various downloadable versions, (Steam, etc.). Again, check the Instructions/FAQ for help installing saves in each of these versions.
If you are playing on a system with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, or 10, and have installed the Windows multi-patch from tombraiderchronicles.com, you may find some of these saves don't work for you. Try Jeff Reid's save files made with the Windows XP patch (below) instead.
I have noted the order in which the middle locations (Nevada, London and the South Pacific) are played in each set of saves. If these don't match the order you chose, you may need to download additional saves later to avoid missing or repeating levels.
Jeff Reid's Patched Saves - Download Link (609 KB zip file) - Jeff has also provided a complete selection of saves made with the Windows XP Multi Patch. These should also work if you've used the Multi Patch for Windows Vista/7/8/10 from tombraiderchronicles.com.

The objective of the game remains unchanged, although Tomb Raider III arguably has fewer tombs to explore than the previous games. Instead, most levels take place in a more modern environment, and Tomb Raider introduces an element of stealth into the game play. For example in the Nevada adventure, it is sometimes preferable to sneak past guards instead of fighting them. Being spotted may set off alarms and close doors that are otherwise needed to complete the stage and therefore the player will have no other option than to take a more difficult route. Unlike its predecessors, after completing the India levels, the player can then choose which of the next three areas of the world they want to explore in any order they wish.
If you're not satisfied with the given mappings or functionality and would like to tweak them, the source script (TombRaiderMouseHelper.ahk) is in the \"src\" folder. You will need to download AutoHotkey from www.autohotkey.com to compile it. In the folder where you installed/extracted AutoHotkey will be a \"Compiler\" folder. In there is Ahk2Exe.exe, which you can use to compile your modified TombRaiderMouseHelper.ahk into a new TombRaiderMouseHelper.exe. An icon for you to use is in the folder with TombRaiderMouseHelper.ahk.
Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft is a British video game developed by now-defunct CORE Design and published by EIDOS (Now part of Square Enix), released on PC and PlayStation in 1998, with a mini-sequel The Lost Artifact (titled The Lost Artefact in Europe) released in 2000 for the PC. It was added to the PlayStation Network in 2009, and as a PC digital download from Steam and GOG in 2012. The 3rd instalment in the Tomb Raider series follows British archaeologist and explorer Lara Croft as she travels the world to discover pieces of an ancient meteorite made from a strange material that grants its users special powers. As Tomb Raider III and The Lost Artifact both use the same weapon models, they are both listed on this page.
The last entry proper in the long-running adventure franchise was the sturdy Tomb Raider: Underworld back in 2008, with an excellent top down spin-off, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, hitting download services last year.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced the PlayStation 3 Slim, a smaller and lighter model of the console and a release date of 1 September 2009. Sony also announced that the PlayStation Portable would get smaller games (under 100mb) in the form of 'minis' and that comics would also be available to download in December 2009. A \"free game\" registration promotion was announced for the PSP Go.
Microsoft Game Studios announced Fable III, along with a release date of 2010. Also, Microsoft announced their intention to release Fable II on the Xbox Live Marketplace in five episodes, the first of which will be free to download.
While most press conferences were not available for live streaming, Electronic Arts was streaming its press conference on EA.com.[11] Sony Computer Entertainment Europe also showcased its press conference on its online community-based service PlayStation Home shortly afterwards.[12] Sony also made its press conference available for download on the PlayStation Store. Various gaming websites offered live-blogging of the respective press conferences. 153554b96e
